A master class dedicated to the implementation of green budgeting and the integration of budgetary processes with environmental protection and climate change mitigation objectives is being held at the National Academy for Public Administration.
The opening address was delivered by Marina Dražić, Director of the National Academy for Public Administration, who emphasised the importance of professional development for public administration employees. On this occasion, she highlighted that the “Greenfield and Brownfield Budgeting” training course has been included in the 2027 training programmes for both state administration bodies and local self-government units, enabling employees to acquire practical knowledge that they can apply in their day-to-day work.
The master class is organised by the OSCE Mission to Serbia in cooperation with NAPA. The event explores opportunities for integrating environmental and climate-related considerations into budget planning, while also providing a platform for the exchange of experience and examples of good practice.
