NAPA DELEGATION VISITS SLOVENIAN PARTNERS

9 May 2022

The delegation of the National Academy of Public Administration led by the Acting Director, Mr. Dejan Miletić, visited Ljubljana on 5 May and met with the representatives of the Faculty of Public Administration, the Ministry of Public Administration, and the Academy of Management.

The topic of the meeting with the Dean of the Faculty of Public Administration was the initiative to raise the professional development level in public administration, as well as to identify areas in which the experiences of both parties would be most relevant for cooperation. On that occasion, the representatives of the Faculty shared their experiences in organizing last year's NISPAcee Annual conference. The 2023 conference will be organized by the National Academy of Public Administration, as the first organization outside the university education system to be chosen to host the conference of this network.

Along with the colleagues from the Academy of Management, NAPA representatives exchanged experiences in the field of preparation and implementation of professional development programs, as well as new solutions in the field of e-learning. They also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the innovation project that the Academy of Management is implementing with the support of European Union funds.

As Mr. Miletić pointed out, the bilateral exchange of experiences with related organizations is of great importance for the work of the National Academy, providing strong support in identifying the direction of development. With this meeting, the delegation of the Academy continued the development of international activities paused during the corona virus pandemic.
