The second session of the Programme Council of the National Academy for Public Administration was held at the Academy’s premises on the topic of identifying training needs, during which key issues related to the further development of professional training programmes for 2027 were discussed. At this session, members of the Programme Council discussed and proposed improvements to existing training modules, as well as the development of new thematic training areas.
The session was chaired by Petar Janjić, Secretary-General of the Government of Serbia, while prior to the beginning of the session, the Director of the National Academy for Public Administration, Marina Dražić, welcomed those present and emphasized the importance of joint efforts in improving the professional development system.
On that occasion, she stated: “Today’s session is dedicated to the development of new and the improvement of existing training programmes for 2027.”
Special emphasis was placed on identifying training needs, as well as on improving planning methodology, with the aim of achieving concrete and measurable results in strengthening the capacities of public administration employees. The positive results of the assessment of the effects of training programmes implemented in 2025 were also highlighted, according to which participants highly rated their content.
Council members also considered the Academy’s further activities, including the implementation of the Public Administration Reform Strategy, cooperation with international partners, as well as the development of new programmes and accreditation processes.
It was concluded that joint efforts and the continuous improvement of programmes would contribute to strengthening the efficiency and professionalism of public administration in Serbia.
