A panel discussion titled "A Compass for Strategic Decisions – From Data to Good Governance" was held today in the amphitheatre of the National Academy for Public Administration. The event was officially opened by the Director of NAPA, Ms Marina Dražić.
The aim of the panel was to encourage dialogue on the importance of data in decision-making and the development of analytical capacities in public administration, with a presentation of the Analytical Service for Local Self-Government (LSG). Panel participants included representatives from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, the Republic Secretariat for Public Policies, the National Academy for Public Administration, the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities, and local self-government units.
On this occasion, Ms Dražić emphasized that the National Academy for Public Administration had taken part in the project activities related to the professional development of civil servants for the effective use of this information system. So far, 250 civil servants have completed training in this area, and an online course on the subject has also been developed and is available 24/7 through the Academy’s LMS platform.
